Harmony and Motion, now in its 6th year, provides a unique opportunity to see the very best musicians and dancers in San Diego who honor artistic traditions from around the world!

Friday, September 29 – 7:00 PM Jazz Journey Around the World
Saturday, September 30 – Unique Shows at 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Sunday, October 1 – Free Workshops 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Gorgeous dancers, exotic and colorful costumes, virtuoso world-touring musicians, seductive flamenco dancing, ethereal Indonesian orchestration, sublime Thai traditional music and dance, mysterious and enchanting tribal dances, elegant Indian classical dance, uplifting Brazilian rhythms and dance, sublimely poetic Persian classical music and dance, eloquent and transporting trans-cultural jazz, theater-shaking Japanese Taiko drums will sonically, visually and somatically take you to worlds you have never been to. Add expert cultural and musical guidance by a renowned ethnomusicologist, international food to nosh on, and free Sunday music and dance workshops. Harmony & Motion will whisk you away on a sensuous journey around the world. Harmony and Motion will quite simply astound you.

Harmony in Motion International Music and Dance Festival is produced by the nonprofit Worldview Project, an all-volunteer organization with a mission to promote greater cross-cultural awareness, understanding and engagement. Festival proceeds go to the performing artists and the professional production staff. Any additional money raised will help fund the Worldview Project and its many initiatives. We wish to thank the Payne Family Foundation, the Peacemaker’s Fund, the Scarano Family Foundation, the generous donations of many individuals, as well as the tireless efforts of our talented volunteer corps who support our efforts to work towards greater cross-cultural understanding and engagement.
